The Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the Swiss ambassador to Tehran, Marcos Latner, and protested against US interference in its internal affairs over the rise in gasoline prices.

The administration officials announced in their statements publicly support for provoking chaos and riots in Iran.
Tehran police chief Brigadier-General Hossein Rahimi said yesterday that rioters had committed atrocities and mobs in the capital over the past two days and caused a lot of damage to public and private property, pointing to the arrest of a number of them.
