Egyptian nationalist and political thinker Farouk al-Ashry stressed the need for the US and Turkish occupation forces to withdraw from Syrian territory unconditionally.
Al-Ashry said in a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo that "the entry of US and Turkish forces into Syrian territory was carried out illegally and without permission or request from the Syrian government and its goal is to protect terrorist organizations that implement the plans of the colonial West and its plots to divide the region."
The Egyptian intellectual commended the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army in confronting terrorist organizations and protecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of his country.
