The sentence to 3 years and 6 months for sexual violence is final for Maria Angela Farè, a former nun who abused a girl from Busto Arsizio (Varese) who committed suicide at the age of 26, in 2011. Farè must go to prison, because the offense is 'impeding' the suspension of the sentence for the granting of an alternative measure to detention. The Court of Cassation rejected the defense appeal, making the sentence final. The Sacconago family was a civil party, assisted by the lawyer Tiberio Massironi.
