The revenues of the Directorate of Transport in Latakia during the current year amounted to 4.212 billion Syrian pounds.
The Director of Transport, Engineer Mohamed Ali Wajih Deeb told a SANA correspondent that the Directorate carried out 97915 transactions during this year and mid-December of this year, including 15527 ownership transfer transactions, 12539 license renewals and 1876 recent registration, noting that 1061 vehicles were transferred from the Directorate to other directorates, while 1591 vehicles were transferred To the directorate at the same time.
Eng. Deeb pointed out that the directorate will work to create a sub-district in Al-Haffa region during the next year to facilitate the citizens and to reduce congestion and mobility in addition to activating the central transactions program to link the transport directorates in Syria with each other.
