(CNN Spanish) - Chavista deputies elected the new Board of Directors of the National Assembly without the presence of opposition deputies claiming they did not appear.

Without any vote, the deputy Luis Parra, former member of the First Justice party, was sworn in as the new president of the Assembly.

Earlier, opposition deputies, including Juan Guaidó, denounced that they were blocking access to the Assembly with several security filters.

From the Twitter account of the National Assembly a "coup to parliament" was denounced. “Without votes or quorum deputies of the Psuv try to swear false directive”, indicates the tweet.
