The forces of General Khalifa Haftar, according to Al Arabiya, would have entered Sirte chasing away the militias that support the executive of Premier Fayez al-Sarraj. "National Agreement Government militias withdraw from Sirte. The Libyan Arab Army enters Sirte," writes a tweet from the Al-Arabiya group's news broadcaster al-Hadath, citing its correspondent and referring to the important city Libyan on the homonymous Gulf. "The Libyan National Army controls the base of the Saedi brigade to the east of Sirte," said another tweet from the Pan-Arab broadcaster referring to the militias of which Field Marshal Haftar is commanding general. "The Libyan Army Navy controls the port of Sirte according to al-Arabiya al-Hadath sources," he added. "The Libyan National Army (LNA) controls most of Sirte," says the Libyan Address site, very close to Haftar's forces. On the other hand, a tweet from the Libya Observer, pro-Sarraj site, writes that "clashes erupt 20 km east of the city of Sirte between government forces and Haftar militia groups".
