Tehran-Sana

The commander-in-chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Major General Hussein Salami, stressed the importance of continuing the resistance's approach and strengthening it with greater strength and resolve than before, after the martyrdom of the commander of the Quds Force, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, and the deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Organization, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and their comrades.

"Faris' approval of the text of the anti-American crime law came at an appropriate time," Salami was quoted as saying in a letter addressed to Ali Larijani, head of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council.

The Iranian Islamic Shura Council had earlier today approved an urgent bill that provides for amending the text of the “countermeasures law” by including all members of the US Department of Defense “the Pentagon” and its affiliated companies and institutions and all those involved in the assassination of the martyr General Qassem Soleimani and his companions on the list of “ Terrorist organizations. ”

The countermeasures law previously approved by the Iranian Shura Council on April 23, 2019 provides for the classification of the US Central Command in the region "Centcom" as a terrorist organization and came in response to America's inclusion of the Revolutionary Guards on the list of "terrorism" at that time.
