(ANSA) - MILAN, JANUARY 8 - Milan today recalled RoccoSantoro, Antonio Cestari and Michele Tatulli, the three policemen killed 40 years ago in an ambush by the Red Brigades.
To pay homage to the victims in the place of the ambush, in viaSchievano, the commissioner of the Lombard capital, Sergio Bracco, the regional councilor for security Riccardo De Corato and the students of the Gramsci Institute where the policemen should have been vigilant that day.
The murders were claimed by the Column Walter Alasiacon hundreds of flyers with the inscription: "Welcome to the General From the Church!". Shortly before, the general had been appointed head of the Pastrengo division of the carabinieri, with jurisdiction over Milan and throughout Upper Italy.
