Member of the Presidency of the Islamic Shura Council Ali Asghar Yusef Ahmadinejad announced that the council will hold a closed session tomorrow to study the accident of the Ukrainian passenger plane that crashed near Tehran last Wednesday morning.
The Fars News Agency quoted Representative Yusef Ahmadinejad as saying in a statement today that the session will be attended by senior officials of the Revolutionary Guards, and the various dimensions of this incident will be studied and the required reports presented.
The Iranian Staff announced earlier today that the shooting down of the stricken Ukrainian plane was due to a human error due to its approaching one of the sensitive centers of the Revolutionary Guard against the backdrop of American threats to target 52 points in Iran, stressing that the responsible parties will be held accountable.
