The Iraqi parliament renewed its adherence to the decision to remove foreign forces from Iraqi territory.
The office of the First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Hassan Al-Kaabi, said in a statement that a correspondent received by Sana in Baghdad received a copy of it.
In response to Dale's question about the fate of NATO forces and some other countries in Iraq, Al-Kaabi said that "the recent decision of the House of Representatives to completely evacuate all foreign forces came after a series of violations of Iraqi sovereignty and the unilateral and uncontrolled actions of American forces inside the country."
Al-Kaabi stressed that the recent parliamentary decision will allow the organization and review of the nature of military and security cooperation with friendly countries in the future, except for the United States of America.
The Iraqi government confirmed yesterday its refusal to sign an agreement to keep American forces in Iraq, indicating that it will support the vote of the Iraqi parliament, which demands the removal of these forces from the country.
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Council of Representatives voted on the fifth of this month with an absolute majority on a decision committing the Iraqi government to end the foreign presence in the country after the American crimes against the headquarters and leaders of Iraqi and high-level military commanders.
