(CNN Spanish) - Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó left Venezuela, a source close to Guaidó told CNN.

Guaidó, president of the National Assembly and recognized as interim president of the country for more than 50 countries, would be in Bogotá, Colombia.

CNN is trying to contact the Colombian immigration authorities to confirm the location.

Mike Pompeo, the United States secretary of state, said Friday that Bogotá is traveling just this Sunday to meet with several officials, including President Iván Duque.
