Gaza: 3 Palestinian infiltrators killed

(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV / GAZA, JAN 22 - Three Palestinians were killed last night by an Israeli army unit after they infiltrated Israeli territory from Gaza and after they had launched a bomb towards imilitarians. Military radio reported that the three planned an attack. Palestinian sources report that the youth had received instructions from Islamic Jihad, purnon being formally members of it.
In the past few hours, Israel has raised the level of alert around the Gaza Strip in fear that Palestinian militias could plan attacks on the arrival in Israel of dozens of foreign leaders for the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp. In particular, military radio reports, that in the area Israel has strengthened the Iron Dome batteries that have been defended by rocket launches.
