(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 22 - With the publication in the GazzettaUfficiale (n.15 of January 20, 2020), delegations have been made official to the Undersecretary for the Environment Roberto Morassut: from environmental remediation to nuclear safety. This was announced by a press release from the dicastery.
"I thank Minister Sergio Costa for the powers he has given me as undersecretary for the environment - said Morassut - From environmental rehabilitation to nuclear safety, these are important and crucial issues for our country, on which we can make a lot and good impact, thanks to the skills and resources available".
"Ours is a country characterized by great fragility from a hydrogeological point of view, of land use and environmental pollution", continues the undersecretary, noting that "the priority is to give the territory back to citizens quickly and with certainty and in the Environmental Associate, on which we are working in these days, we aim to simplify the legislation and to optimize the operating procedures to use resources effectively ".
Roberto Morassut, the only Undersecretary to the Minister for the Environment, specifies the note - he will deal with environmental remediation, remediation and damage policies; hydrogeological instability and soil consumption; nuclear policy and relations with the National Inspectorate for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection (Isin); space and aerospace research policies; policies on the prevention and reduction of electromagnetic pollution, with delegation to chair the Inter-ministerial Committee for the prevention and reduction of electromagnetic pollution. Morassut is also responsible for relations with the Senate and the Chamber. (ANSA).
