"Ninety minutes of backing, of support, of incitement. If we are in the semifinal it is thanks to all of us and to all of you. Together. You are our charge." So Arek Milik thanks today on his Instagram profile the ultras of Napoli who yesterday returned to the San Paolo stadium for the match against Lazio after a couple of months of absence. The relentless choruses are back and have also been underlined by Napoli coach Rino Gattuso after the match when he stressed that "without that support I don't know if we would be in the semi-final of the Italian Cup".
The importance of organized cheering was also emphasized in the post-race by Lorenzo Insigne who, during the match, turned several times raising his arms towards the curves to encourage them to cheer more and more. The absence of the ultras was due to an increase in the application of penalties for violations of the regulation of use of the stadium, regarding behaviors such as standing on the steps to guide the choirs. In recent weeks the ultras had deserted the curves, putting in place protests outside the San Paolo stadium on the occasion of home matches.
