(ANSA) - BOLZANO, JANUARY 26 - There is a suspected case of coronavirus in Vienna. It is a Chinese flight attendant who arrived in the Austrian capital on January 24 and who was in Wuhan the previous days. The woman is now in solitary confinement in the Kaiser Franz Josef hospital after being treated last night with flu symptoms. "We cannot rule out that it is coronavirus," said the medical director of the Viennese hospitals Michael Binder in a note. Leanalysis, which will be performed at the University of Vienna's Virology Institute, is expected within 48 hours. In the meantime, people who were in contact with the Chinese assistant before the hospital stay were also checked. "There is no cause for concern, the Hospitals in Vienna are best prepared for such situations," reiterates the city councilor for health Peter Hacker.
