Two people were arrested today after breaking two security checkpoints with their vehicle at the Mar-a-Lago resort of Florida President Donald Trump in Florida - local media reported. The incident reportedly happened hours before Trump’s planned arrival on the scene. The Palm Beach County Sheriff told NBC that the black vehicle in which the two were heading to the main entrance of the property.

Late last September, Trump changed his primary residence from Manhattan to Palm Beach, Florida, according to official documents filed with Palm Beach District Court. Melania Trump also changed her residence to Palm Beach, in the same document. Each of the two filed a "statement of residence" stating that the Mar-a-Lago Club, the Trump resort in Palm Beach, would be their permanent residence.

The president confirmed the decision on Twitter after the New York Times reported the move, saying it would make Palm Beach "our permanent residence." He added that "I cherish New York and New Yorkers, and always Okir." However, Trump expressed reservations that the city's leaders paid no heed to him. "Public representatives treated me very harshly. Few were treated worse," describing the transition decision "as the best for all concerned."
