Right-wing National Rally leader Marine Le Pen considered that Brexit was a catastrophic failure of the European Union.
"AP" quoted Le Pen as saying during a press conference: "Britain has finally regained its freedom, but this remains a catastrophic failure for the European Union," noting the need to turn into an alliance between European nations.
Le Pen added that the event received only limited comments despite the departure of a founding member of the European Union.
Britain yesterday called the bloc of the European Union, which it has been associated with for 47 years, to wake up to what many considered a new stage in its history.
