The head of the Plant Production Department in the Agricultural Directorate, Eng. Jalal Bilal, told a SANA reporter that the current period is witnessing an increasing demand by the governorate’s farmers to grow their lands with these crops, and the cultivated area is expected to double during the current week, pointing out that what has been cultivated is distributed over 3500 hectares of coriander And 2,600 hectares of cumin and 1,000 hectares of black seed are concentrated in the first and second agricultural stability areas.
