Bochum (dpa) - Bochum's coach Thomas Reis was disappointed, his HSV colleague Dieter Hecking relieved. Because in the final phase of the long-fought-for second division game, Hamburger SV came to a 3: 1 (0: 0) success.
With the third away win of the season, the Hanseatic team continued their course to return to the football upper house. Nevertheless, the HSV, which closed the leader Arminia Bielefeld (38) with 37 points at the end of the 20th matchday, did not appear in front of 24,421 spectators in the Ruhr Stadium like an aspiring aspirant.
