It is a decision that the coordination group in the district made on Sunday evening: Tomorrow all schools in the district will be closed. With this, the committee, in addition to the district office, the emergency services, civil protection, the school office and secondary schools are also represented, is reacting to the warning messages about the upcoming hurricane.
As Rainer Dlugosch, director of the Miesbach grammar school, when asked by our newspaper, a comprehensive decision was taken to avoid any misunderstandings. Here, one had reacted to the experiences from the loss of lessons a year ago in the wake of the snow-related K-Fall.
As can be read on the website of the secondary school in Gmund, there is a weather warning from the DWD for the district of Miesbach. The government of Upper Bavaria has therefore decided that lessons on Monday, February 9, will be canceled at all schools in Upper Bavaria. The secondary school as well as the Miesbach high school are occupied tomorrow and offer emergency care for students who would otherwise have no supervision at home.
