Munich - On Monday afternoon, an approximately 40-year-old man fell four meters deep into a shaft. The accident occurred in the Schwabing district of Munich. As the fire department reports, the man is a construction worker who worked on the concrete ring shaft.

A colleague of the man watched as the almost 40-year-old man suddenly plunged into the hole. An employee of the company made an emergency call immediately. The arriving emergency doctor team was then able to get to the man relatively quickly via a ladder in the four-meter deep and two-meter wide shaft. The fire brigade was able to get the casualty out of the shaft with the help of the rescue team.

The man was seriously injured in the fall. However, according to the fire brigade, he was still lucky in the accident: he fell directly on the bottom of the shaft and not on a machine that was already in it. Otherwise he could have been injured much worse.

After the first aid on site, the man was taken to a shock room in Munich. The police are now investigating the exact cause of the accident. There is currently no further information on the state of health of men.

Meanwhile, the storm storm "Sabine" is still raging in Munich. The fire department has now drawn up a first damage balance.
