Thunderstorms associated with high-altitude disturbances are affecting the Pearl River Estuary; about 5 millimeters of rainfall were recorded on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon this morning.
Weather: Hong Kong is generally cloudy today, with occasional showers, a few squally thunderstorms in the morning, and the rain gradually weakens in the afternoon.
The Observatory's outlook: There will be rain in the next day or two; the weather will turn cold on Sunday; and it will continue to be cold early to mid next week.
