President Alberto Fernández revealed that on Friday he met Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, after the crosses that the Vice President had with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the midst of the efforts of the national government to restructure the debt.

"It is a day of joy and it will be a day of joy because I started having breakfast with Cristina, who arrived from Cuba, and we reviewed everything," said the president when leading an event in the Buenos Aires Hurlingham party.

The President avoided giving more details of the meeting with the Vice President, who on Thursday redoubled his criticism of the Fund for "violating" his statute by granting an "illegal" credit to the previous national administration led by Mauricio Macri.

On the other hand, Alberto Fernández took advantage of the act to highlight the increases to retirees and the benefits that were officially managed for the purchase of medicines.

"The retirees are going to have their increase and the free medications I promised them," he said.

The President inaugurated a new building at the National University of Hurlingham (UNAHUR), on Origone Street, which has 2100 square meters in which there are eight classrooms, offices, toilets, entrance hall, a laboratory for metallurgical engineering, a laboratory for electrical engineering, an auditorium, buffet-dining room and a lactarium.
