(ANSA) - BARI, FEBRUARY 25 - The Bari Public Prosecutor has requested the prosecution of 21 people, the former BNL CEO Fabio Gallia, 19 other former and current officials of the bank and the former government commissioner, legal representative and sole director of South East Railways Luigi Fiorillo. The defendants risk a trial for the crimes, in various capacities disputed, of improper bankruptcy as a result of malicious operations against the harmful ESF and preferential fraudulent bankruptcy in favor of BNL, with reference to the crash of the Apulian transport company, commissioned after the Fiorillo management and then purchased by State Railways. The disputed facts date back to the years 2009-2016, but the alleged bankruptcy crimes are dated 16 January 2017, the date of admission to the composition.
