Altenberg (dpa) - The German skeleton pilots won the third title in the third competition at the World Championships in Altenberg.
Jacqueline Lölling from RSG Hochsauerland and Alexander Gassner from Winterberg won the premiere in the mixed team on Sunday. In 1: 55.39 minutes the German duo was one hundredth of a second ahead of Canada. The team from Italy came third (0.43 seconds back). The two individual world champions Tina Hermann and Christopher Grotheer took fifth place (0.69 seconds).
