Chile announced on Tuesday the first case of coronavirus detected in its territory. It was just minutes after the press conference of the Argentine Health Minister, Ginés González García, in which he confirmed an infected in our country.
According to the Chilean Health Minister, Jaime Mañalich, it is a 33-year-old man who traveled about a month in Southeast Asia.
"We have to confirm that we have the first case for coronavirus in our country," said the minister at a press conference, about the man who is hospitalized and in good condition at the Talca hospital, a city located about 350 km south of Santiago.
