Pension reform: the right and the left denounce a “parliamentary fiasco”

The opposition rejects the use of article 49-3 of the Constitution by the government, which it describes as "parliamentary LBD".

After Edouard Philippe's choice to use 49-3 on pension reform, the opposition reacted strongly on Tuesday in the Assembly, seeing in this constitutional tool a “parliamentary LBD ”, according to LFI deputy Adrien Quatennens, announcer of a “political Waterloo” , for the elected LR Damien Abad.
