(ANSA) - NEW YORK, MARCH 05 - After almost twenty years Mick Jaggertorna actor. The rock star is in fact the protagonist of 'The BurntOrange Heresy', to be released on March 6 and distributed by Sony Pictures Pictures. His last film engagement dates back to 2001 with The Man from Elysian Fields directed by George Hickenlooper.
Jagger (in the role of Joseph Cassidy) plays a diabolic art collector who cleverly convinces a journalist (Claes Bang) to use a rare interview with a solitary artist (Donald Sutherland) as an opportunity to steal his paintings. "I always liked the idea - said Jagger, 76 years old, in an interview about acting - I like the change of pace (rhythm, ed) and the focus of your interpretation. When I perform, it is usually in large spaces ahead to many people while when you are on a small set you exhibit more sophistication and less elaborate gestures ".
