Neighbors of the 31st neighborhood block the exit of micros from the Retiro station due to a protest related to the houses that the City Government installed to urbanize the area.
According to those who participated in the blockade this afternoon, the protest is due to the eviction intimidations that came after the backlog in housing payments. The residents of Villa 31 affirm that it is necessary to renegotiate the contracts in order to prevent evictions.
As the entrance and exit door is locked, the micros left the parking lot. This causes a total collapse in the area and affects passengers entering and leaving the terminal.
1,200 homes were installed in the neighborhood, of which 250 are already occupied. Monthly fees depend on the size of the property and range from $ 2,800 to $ 7,500.
