Qatar: record-breaking Roberts, ahead of Bezzecchi and Marini

The American Joe Roberts got the best time (with track record) at the end of the first day of Moto2 tests on the Losail circuit (Qatar), where the first GP of the season is held on Sunday. With a time of 1'58 "421 the American Racing team driver preceded the two Italians of the Sky Racing Team VR46, Marco Bezzecchi and Luca Marini, separated by 248 and 338 thousandths. Fourth was the Japanese Tetsuta Nagashima (Red Bull Ktm), fifth Xavi Vierge (EG 0.0 Marc VDS). The Spaniard redeemed himself from the crash made during FP1. Other Italians in the top ten are Enea Bastiaini eighth and Nicolò Bulega ninth.
