Spain surpassed on Monday the thousand cases of the new coronavirus , with 1,204 infected and 28 dead, according to the latest balance of the Ministry of Health, which doubles the number of 589 infected detected on Sunday.
The most affected regions are Madrid (center), where the cases doubled in 24 hours, and the Basque Country (north), whose government decreed the closure of all educational centers in the city of Vitoria.
