Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called on the United Nations and its members to ignore the US inhuman embargo on his country.
Fares news agency quoted Zarif as saying today in a Twitter post that he called in a letter to the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres the international organization and member states to ignore the American inhuman embargo on Iran, stressing the need to abolish it.
In his tweet, Zarif added, "In the circumstances in which the Covid virus causes 19 losses in Iran, we need to know that viruses do not discriminate ... and in order to fight them, people must also not be discriminated against."
Zarif, yesterday, in a letter to Guterres called on the international community to press for the abolition of the unilateral US embargo imposed on Iran in order to combat the Corona virus.
