The electrical current returned to the city of Daraa today after the General Electricity Company of Daraa finished repairing faults on the 66 kV line feeding the city due to the prevailing weather conditions.

Eng. Ghassan Al-Zamil, the company's general manager, stated in a statement to Sana correspondent that the workshops repaired one of the faults on the line between the Ghazala and Daraa main stations yesterday night, while I continued this morning to fix the rest of the faults, indicating that the current returned to the city now.

Al-Zamil pointed out that there are breakdowns on the 66-kilovolt line connecting the two main stations, Sheikh Miskin and Daraa, and work is underway to repair them, noting that the workshops did not stop since yesterday from following up on the work of repairing faults in the electrical system in all areas of the governorate, despite the prevailing weather conditions.

The breakdown occurred yesterday on the 20 kV cells in Bosra, Al-Harak and Al-Basil stations due to the weather conditions and was fixed.
