(ANSA) - LISBON, MARCH 15 - The coronavirus "is infecting the global economy" and the pandemic creates an "escalating real risk of a global recession". This was stated by United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. "No country can face it alone," wrote the secretary general in an editorial in the Portuguese newspaper Publico. "More than ever," he says, "governments must cooperate to revive economies, expand public investment, promote trade and guarantee support for people and communities."
