It is an unusual, joyful and madly sympathetic spectacle which takes place every evening at 8 p.m. The French have got into the habit of opening their windows, going out on their balconies to applaud, ovation. Who does their cheers go to? To health personnel mobilized for several weeks to treat the victims of Covid-19.

Gone are the carelessness or the unconsciousness of the first days, the worry is there and, with it, came the instinctive and quite natural need to turn to those who know, those who can act, save. We remember the similar movement of sympathy towards the police after the deadly attacks of 2015.

This support for caregivers is more than ever necessary, while the political and health authorities are announcing a "wave": the influx of patients that has known eastern France for several days will quickly spread to Île-de-France. -France, and we already fear the engorgement, aggravated by the lack of masks, beds, respiratory equipment.
