The first passenger-loaded high-speed trains returned to Wuhan, breaking the total isolation of over two months. More than 12,000 people were greeted in the main station of the Covid-19 outbreak city by applause and flowers, the latest sign of the desire to return to normal after the dramatic chronicles of January. For now, the flows are only arriving and are intended to encourage the reunification of families that remained separated after the quarantine of the city (and Hubei, the province of which it is the capital) decided on 23 January to limit the infection. The staff in white tyvek suits, including municipal workers and volunteers, operated from the morning to facilitate arrivals, spraying disinfectant and providing information on new rules of conduct. Travel restrictions will fall on April 8, when domestic air connections are also expected to restart (Hubei airports will reopen tomorrow), but in the meantime Wuhan, a city of 11 million inhabitants, saw the metro pick up later in the day after the bus transport service started on Monday. 200 intelligent infrared systems have been installed in its network to detect body temperature in 182 stations reopened in this first phase. Every traveler arriving by train and on public transport must show that they have the 'green' code (Health Qr code) of an app that certifies the state of health without risk towards Covid-19. The main battle of local and central authorities is that against the "second wave", linked to imported cases of infection and asymptomatic, by those who are infected but who show no signs of the disease. According to several studies, including a Chinese that has gone viral, the most risky moment is identified in October when the climatic and environmental conditions favorable to coronavirus could develop.
