The United States surpassed the 400,000 cases of new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, according to the count of the American university Johns Hopkins continuously updated.

The pandemic has killed at least 12,912 people in the country, fast becoming the new epicenter of the disease. The milestone of 300,000 reported cases had been crossed there on Saturday.
