The two have been engaged since 2017.

Assange is detained in London's Belmarsh High Security Prison as he fights against a U.S. extradition request to be tried there on espionage charges .

According to the Mail on Sunday, Morris chose to disclose their relationship and the existence of their children because "she fears that Assange's life will be at serious risk if she stays in Belmarsh", due to the spread of the coronavirus.
