Director of the Tour de France, Christian Prudhomme announced this Wednesday at the 1:00 p.m. newspaper of France 2 that the Tour de France 2020 would be maintained and shifted from Saturday August 29 to Sunday September 20 while initially, it was to be held between the 27 June and July 19. This postponement had become essential since the announcement on Monday by President Emmanuel Macron of the ban on all cultural and sporting events bringing together a large audience until July 15. The manager clarified that the course of the event would not be changed with a departure from Nice and an arrival in Paris.
