The UK announced on Saturday April 18, 888 additional hospital deaths from patients with the new coronavirus, bringing the total number of victims of the virus in the country to 15,464.
This figure is up from the 847 additional deaths announced Friday by the Ministry of Health. At 9 a.m. on Saturday, 357,023 people had been tested for the new coronavirus, of which 114,217 were positive.
