In Bolivia, the increase in cases of covid-19 and the lack of discipline of the population during quarantine, are the reasons that led the authorities of the three levels of government (national, departmental and municipal) to decide to militarize the city of Santa Cruz for seven days, in order to avoid the advance of the pandemic. Santa Cruz is the department that so far shows the highest confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country with 218, of the 465 registered nationwide and 12 deaths of the 31 registered, according to the latest report from the Ministry of Health.
