The decision on March 17 to place the entire population under house arrest was brutal. Fear in the stomach, faced with a virus of which they ignored everything, or almost, the French have bowed to it with good grace. It is now around May 11 that their eyes are turned. In a completely different context, much more volcanic. For a month, controversies have been legion and the assurance that the executive power knows where it is going is far from being shared. For Emmanuel Macron and the government, the door is narrow. They have three weeks left to clear the horizon, remove doubts, allay fears.
