President Alberto Fernández had announced on Saturday the extension of the general quarantine against the coronavirus until May 10.

Fernández insisted that day that the greatest difficulty is "in the large urban centers", where more than 47% of cases are registered, and for this reason he emphasized that in cities with more than 500,000 inhabitants, the restrictions will continue as before.

After the announcement, a controversy was generated around the scope of recreational outings (500 meters and an hour), so regions such as the Federal Capital came out to rule it out given the increasing number of cases.
