(ANSA) - CAGLIARI, 05 MAY - The positive trend continues in Sardinia: in the last 24 hours only a new case of Covid-19 virus positivity has been recorded, while for the second consecutive day there have been no deaths. This is what was revealed by the Regional Crisis Unit in the latest update: a total of 1,318 cases of positivity ascertained since the beginning of the emergency, 119 were the victims. In total 28,867 tests were performed. There are 103 patients hospitalized, 9 of whom are in intensive care, while 539 are people in home isolation. The progressive data of positive cases includes 452 patients recovered (+19 compared to the previous data), plus another 105 clinically cured. On the territory, of the 1,318 positive cases, 243 were recorded in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari (+1 compared to the last update), 94 in Southern Sardinia, 55 in Oristano, 78 in Nuoro, 848 in Sassari.
