(ANSA) - PERUGIA, MAY 07 - "We do not understand the denial to our request": thus, in the State-Regions Conference, the Umbrian President, Donatella Tesei, regarding the anticipated reopening.
"We asked - he explained - unanimously, as a Conference of the Regions, the reopening of the retail trade from 11 May, in line with the Umbrian time schedule, and from 18 of the same month the possibility of managing, according to regional health situations, the various reopenings , making it possible for Regions to acquire power over their own territory and consequently to be able to establish their own calendar ".
"We do not understand - said President Tesei, Minister Boccia during the State-Regions Conference - the refusal to our request, entrenching ourselves behind the lack of INAIL safety protocols still to be perfected. This may be understandable for other sectors, but in the case of the retail trade, it would be enough to adapt to the measures taken for activities already open ".
