France recorded a sharp rise in the daily death rate due to the emerging Corona virus, by announcing 263 cases recorded during the past 24 hours, compared to 70 deaths in yesterday's census.
The General Administration of French Health Affairs stated that the death toll from the virus in the country increased during the past hours by 263 cases and reached 26,643, including 16,820 who died in hospitals and 9,823 in the homes of the elderly.
This figure represents a significant increase in the rate of increase in deaths from the virus, compared to the statistics of the previous days. On Friday, this indicator reached 243 cases, Saturday 80 and Sunday 70.

France is the fifth country in the world in terms of the number of deaths from the Corona virus and the fifth in terms of the death toll.
