New Junction Institute patent may allow synagogues to open: Junction thermometer, will allow use on Saturday, for Corona's fight. Pangea, in collaboration with Junction Institute, developed an infrared thermometer, aircare a66, suitable for use on Saturday.

Heat is required at the entrance to many places today to combat the corona virus. To this end, a device junction will be created at the institute, which causes the thermometer to measure automatically, non-stop and without human contact, so that heat can be measured on Saturday without causing a blast.

How will synagogues return to activity?

Ministry of Health officials: "Opening of synagogues - in a few days"

What is allowed and what is not allowed? An embarrassed teacher for the new relief

The new thermometer is suitable for every public institution, from hospitals to synagogues and mikvahs, who want to receive the 'purple character' in accordance with the Ministry of Health's guidelines. This is an innovative development, since it is a digital device that is allowed to be used on Shabbat, which will be placed at the entrance to the synagogues to prevent patients from entering the synagogue.

"Gabay Corona"

In the meantime, two organizations that bring together thousands of synagogues in Israel have approached the chairman of the National Security Council, Meir Ben Shabbat, in a proposal for an outline, which will allow the opening of synagogues across the country.

Despite the fact that various outlines for opening branches in the economy have been released in the coming weeks and the slow return to routine, no directives have been published for the opening of some 18,000 synagogues across the country that employ about one million and a half worshipers.

In their letter, the two proposed a possible outline for the synagogues and proposed, among other things, the appointment of "Corona responsible" for keeping the procedures: positions for disinfecting hands will be placed, face masks will be distributed to each worshiper and the entrance to the complex will be only after measuring the heat. The two asked the chairman of the NSC to formulate detailed instructions regarding the number of worshipers and the keeping of their distance, and additional instructions.
