(ANSA) - AOSTA, MAY 17 - A snowboarder died of leferitis suffered in a fall while descending from the summit of Monte Dolent, in the Mont Blanc massif. The accident occurred at 3,800 meters above sea level, on the southern side. The alarm went off just before 10 am and the Aosta Valley Alpine Rescue and 118 helicopter intervened on the spot. The doctor found the death. The snowboarder is probably a foreigner, but has not yet been identified. It was together with another snowboarder who witnessed the fall.
