99 dead in 24 hours, minimum since lockdown

There are 99 Coronavirus victims in the last 24 hours in Italy, the lowest increase in a day since the lockdown began in March. In total, the dead rise to 32,007. Yesterday the increase had been 145 victims. (HANDLE)

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 18 - There are 99 Coronavirus victims in the last 24 hours in Italy, the lowest increase in a day since the start of the lockdown in March. In total, mortis rise to 32,007. Yesterday the increase had been 145 victims.
   The data was made known by the Civil Protection. The total counter is 225,886, 451 more than yesterday. The figure currently includes positives, victims and healed. Yesterday the increase was 675. Four regions have zero infections: Umbria, Sardinia, Calabria and Basilicata. The number of healers and those discharged from hospitals rose to 127,326, with an increase compared to yesterday of 2,150. On Sunday the increase had been 2,366. 66,553 patients are affected by the pandemic in Italy, 1,798 less than yesterday.
   There are 749 patients admitted to intensive care, 13 fewer than yesterday. Of these, 252 are in Lombardy, 3 less than yesterday. On the other hand, 10,207 patients with symptoms were hospitalized, with a decrease compared to yesterday of 104 people while those in home isolation were 55,597, with a decrease of 1,681 compared to yesterday.
