The Iraqi authorities announced today the arrest of the candidate to succeed the leader of the terrorist organization ISIS, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi.

The Iraqi News Agency, INA, reported that the Iraqi National Intelligence Service announced the arrest of Abdul Nasser Qirdash, the candidate to succeed the terrorist Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi.

In the same context, the head of the Anti-Terrorism Agency, Lieutenant General Abdel-Wahab Al-Saadi, announced that the anti-terror agency will carry out specific operations in coordination with joint operations to pursue the remnants of the ISIS terrorist organization, indicating that these operations are planned in advance according to intelligence information.

Al-Saadi confirmed the continuation of operations until the elimination of the remnants of the terrorist organization in Iraq.

The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces had earlier today eliminated five members of the "ISIS" terrorist organization in Anbar, west of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
